As you all well know, the former website went down recently, and we do apologize for the major inconvenience this has been.

After contacting menotume, much time has been devoted to searching through league software, obtaining hosting, choosing domain name, dealing with DNS propagation, beta testing the site and entering content into the new website. We come now to the present where we have a league site to offer.

As with any new project, this website will likely have some unknown bugs at the beginning. We hope to provide several updates to smooth out some of the rough edges. We welcome constructive, clearly worded input of bugs found and ideas for improvement.

We also added 2 more themes in the config, hoping you will find them pleasing.

Notice of additions to Rules page:
Q: Someone made a /gameover before regular match time ended, what should be the result of that match?
A: Preferably you will not do a /gameover without the agreement of both teams. Also remember that the gameover command should be used only with special occasion. Making it any other way is a sign of bad sportsmanship. If teams do not agree to do game over and cannot decide about a result, the team which did the /gameover will forfeit.

Q: We started a match 2v2, and someone had to leave, what happens now?
A: Preferably, the match will be paused, and a substitute can be found. If not, both teams should agree to either cancel the match, continue the match 2v1, or continue the match at another time. If both teams do not agree to this, then one of three things must happen:
1) If the leading team has lost a player, the match is simply cancelled.
2) If there is a tie, team which lost the player gives a forfeit.
3) If the trailing team lost the player, it is a forfeit, and the score at the time of losing the player is entered.

Due to much speculation and dialogue re: auto report plugin (ARP)

  1. Work is in progress by catay and brad on an auto report plugin for the league. A reminder that catay has a demanding full time job and works on this in his free time. The 1vs1 plugin he wrote works very well, so we expect good things from these two.

  2. Current Muri code cannot be used due to GPL issue, which is an obligatiory requirement. Murielle's status as a minor means US courts will not enforce a license contract between her and other developers. Also, the history of changing her mind about licensing makes it impossible to trust that she will to share her plugin until she gets 18.

  3. Based on past co-work with Muri (like showdown league, catay-muri first plugin developement) and their failure, server owners, developers and duccouncil have decided not to cooperate with her in ARP work.
