Updates to allejo's servers

October 22, 2016

Tonight at 0130 EST, allejo's servers will be down for scheduled updates. Shouldn't take too long. Sorry for the inconvenience. For you matching pleasure check out brad's and Bullet Catcher's servers, BRL.ARPA. http://leaguesunited.org/servers Thank you for your patience!

Thank you allejo for providing and maintaining these servers for our enjoyment!

The Return of Purple

October 13, 2016

After some discussion, it has been decided that the purple team will be returning to Leagues United as the green flag was hard to see on the radar with certain radar settings. As a general practice, our jumping maps will be Red vs Purple and our non-jumping maps will remain Red vs Green. The following maps have been changed to Red vs Purple:

  • Babel
  • BabelMini
  • HiX

Fear not! Fun matches will still be reported correctly with the appropriate colors. This will actually add more color to our Matches page and help you distinguish whether a map occurred on a jumping or non-jumping map. Retroactive fun matches will not be changed with updated team colors as those were the correct team colors used at the time of the match.

Enjoy tanking, purple tanks!

Sunday is Funday with FM Support and more

September 11, 2016

Sorry everyone, no AM or HD radio support!

With our tradition of new releases on Sunday, I'd like to announce support for FM matches on the Leagues United website and some other nice improvements.

Player Stats

With the addition of FM match tracking, we have begun to keep track of player stats in both official and fun matches that will be available on each player's profile page. The stats available right now are the following:

  • The number of matches they've played
  • Win ratio
  • Team caps per match
  • Activity

Match Filtering

On the Matches page, we've added a new option to filter between Official and Fun matches for easy sorting. As before, clicking on the score will take you to a page with details about the FM such as, who played and what map they played on.

Match Details

By viewing the details for an individual match, you will now be able to see the file name for the replay and the map on which this match was played on. You will then be able to search for this file name on the respective replay server. This feature is available for all League United matches even prior to this announcement; this does not include archived GU or Duc replays.

In addition, for league cops and admins, the server of where the match took place is also available. Due to privacy settings, the server address is not made available to all players.

Map Stats

You will now be able to see just how many matches have occurred on a specific map; this feature will take into account both official and fun matches.

Q & A

Will fun matches prior to this announcement be added as well?
No, only FM matches going forward will be added.

I found an issue or something is broken, who do I tell?
Send a message to both alezakos and allejo on the BZFlag forums

All-Star Servers

July 29, 2016

We are not announcing the server. Check the server list to find the populated LU server. Assuming the majority of players come from NA, the server will most likely be a North American server but if there are more Euro players, then the server will be a Euro based server.
